How a project actually runs
Projects run in four stages (Discovery, Direction, Production, and Handoff) over six to twelve weeks depending on scope. You see work at the end of each stage, not once at the end. Every proposal states the number of revision rounds before you sign.
You see work at every stage
Discovery
A real conversation, not a questionnaire. What you sell, who buys it, who you lose to and why, and what has to be true for this to have been worth the money. For regulated categories this is also where we map the compliance requirements, because they shape everything downstream.
Direction
Two or three distinct directions, genuinely different, not the same idea in three colors. Each one presented with the reasoning, applied to real touchpoints so you’re judging it in context instead of on a white slide.
Production
Building the chosen direction out across everything it needs to live on. This is the longest stage and the one where the compliance and production details get resolved: dielines, bleeds, separations, minimum sizes, right-to-left layouts.
Handoff
Every file in every format you’ll need, organized so your printer and your developer can both use them. A guidelines document that answers the questions people will ask you after I’m gone.
On revisions
Every proposal states the number of rounds included. Retainer clients get unlimited revisions within an active request. If a project needs more rounds than we scoped, we’ll talk about it before it becomes a surprise.

Send the project. You’ll get a real answer within one business day, including whether I think you should spend the money at all.
