Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Yoni Zil LLC does with personal information collected through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are
Yoni Zil LLC is a design studio based in North Port, Florida, operating since 2015. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “the studio” mean Yoni Zil LLC, and “the site” means zil.studio and its subdomains.

What this policy covers
It covers the site. It does not cover information you give us inside a signed client engagement, which is governed by that agreement, and it does not cover third-party websites we link to. Their policies are their own.
What we collect
Information you choose to give us
We collect information only when you hand it over. That happens when you:

Form submissions are delivered to the studio as email. They are not passed to a third-party form processor or marketing platform.
We do not ask for, and do not want, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. Please do not send those through this site. If a project genuinely requires sensitive material, we will set up a secure channel.
Information collected automatically
Our web server records technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type and version, operating system and device, the pages viewed, the referring page, and the date and time. This keeps the site running, helps diagnose faults, and protects against abuse.
Cookies
This is shorter than most, because the site genuinely does less than most.
- Strictly necessary cookies only. WordPress sets cookies to keep the site secure and to remember a session if someone logs in to the administrative area. Our page cache may set a cookie to decide whether to serve a cached page.
- No analytics. The site runs no analytics package. We do not measure your behavior across pages.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking. There is no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag, and no social tracking script anywhere on this site.
- Self-hosted fonts. Typefaces are served from our own server, so loading a page does not report your visit to a font provider.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
If we ever add analytics, this section will be updated before it goes live, not after.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal where it applies. Since we do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is currently nothing for the signal to switch off.
Why we use it
Personal information is used for these purposes and no others:
- To reply to you. Answering an enquiry, sending a proposal, arranging a call.
- To do the work. Delivering design services you have engaged the studio for.
- To run the business. Invoicing, records, and resolving disputes.
- To keep the site working and secure. Diagnosing faults, preventing spam and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations. Tax records, and lawful requests.
Legal bases, if you are in the EU, EEA or UK
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests for replying to enquiries and for running and securing the site; on contract where processing is needed to deliver work or to take steps before entering one; on consent where you have opted in to something, which you can withdraw at any time; and on legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or produce records.
What we do not do
Stated plainly, because this is the part people actually care about:
- We do not sell your personal information, and never have.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use material you send us to train any public artificial intelligence model.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the contact form. There is no marketing list.
Who else sees it
Personal information is shared only in these situations:
- Infrastructure providers. This site is hosted on Cloudways, which operates the server and its backups. Email is delivered through our mail provider. These companies process information on our instructions in order to run the service, and for no purpose of their own.
- Professional advisers. Our accountant or attorney, where necessary, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Subcontractors. Where a project needs a specialist collaborator, and only with information relevant to that work. They are bound by confidentiality terms.
- Legal requirement. Where we are compelled by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect legal rights or someone’s safety.
- Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer with it. You would be told before your information became subject to a different policy.
Information leaving the United States
We are based in the United States and information sent to us is processed there. The studio works with clients in Israel, Europe and elsewhere. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and stored in a country whose data protection law may differ from your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses with providers who offer them.
How long we keep it

Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Show you the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong or incomplete
- Delete it, where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it
- Restrict or stop a particular use
- Send you a copy in a portable, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it
Email info@zil.studio to exercise any of these. You will get a response within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first. There is no charge unless a request is clearly excessive or repetitive.
If you are in California
The California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, where it came from, why we have it, and who receives it. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of them, and you will not be.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is therefore no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link to offer, because there is nothing to opt out of.
If you are in the EU, EEA or UK
You may also complain to your national supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would rather you gave us the chance to put it right first.
If you are elsewhere in the United States
Several states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and Florida, have consumer privacy statutes. Where one applies to us and to you, we honour the rights it grants. Write to us and say which state you are in.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and it will be deleted.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information: the whole site is served over an encrypted connection, the administrative area is access-controlled, and software is kept up to date.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information and poses a risk to you, we will notify you and any required authority as the law directs.
Links to other sites
This site links to client work, third-party resources and social profiles. Following a link takes you somewhere we do not control, and this policy stops at that boundary.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The current version always lives at this address, with the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent again.
