Client portal

Every request, every file, in one place.

Every Zil Studio client gets a private portal. Send a request, watch it move through the studio, message me directly, and download the finished files. It shows the hours left in your package, what is on the open invoice, and what needs your eyes. Partnership, project and pilot clients all get one at no extra cost.

Why it exists

The work is visible while it happens

A design job produces a lot of small facts: what was asked for, what it will cost, which version is current, and who is waiting on whom. Kept in email, those facts scatter across threads and get answered twice. The portal holds them in one place and keeps them current as the work moves, so you can check at any hour without asking me.

No status emails

Every request carries its own stage, so “where are we on this?” is already answered by the time you think to ask it.

One current version

Finished files sit in your own library, newest first. Nobody digs back through a thread looking for the right attachment.

Send it when you think of it

A request goes in from a phone at eleven at night. It lands on the board, and I pick it up in the morning.

Inside

What you see when you sign in

The client portal dashboard: a greeting, a Waiting on you queue, an hours meter showing time left in the package, and the most recent finished files.
Dashboard

What needs your eyes, what is moving, how much of your package is left, and the files I sent over most recently.

The client portal task board: pipeline stages from Waiting on a price through Delivered, with a project opened out into its subtasks and progress bars.
Tasks

Every job on one board, from first brief to delivered. Projects open out into their parts.

Work Chat in the client portal: one running thread with the studio, with a proof attached to a message.
Work Chat

One running thread with me, with proofs attached where the conversation about them is happening.

The client portal file library: a folder tree of deliverables and brand assets, each file with a download and a share button.
Files

Deliverables and brand assets, sorted and searchable. Download any of them, or send a link.

FAQ

Asked and answered

Is the portal included, or does it cost extra?

Included. Every studio partnership on all four tiers, every brand system and project, and every two-week pilot sprint comes with an account at no additional charge.

Do I have to use it?

No. Email and phone still work and always will. The portal exists because most clients would rather look at the board than ask for an update, but nothing breaks if you never sign in.

Can I see what a job costs before it starts?

Yes. Fixed-price work sits in a waiting-on-a-price stage until you approve the quote. Work drawn from a monthly package shows the hours it will use against your month, and the meter on your dashboard moves with it.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The whole portal is built for a phone as well as a desk, in light or dark. Sending a request from a shop floor works the same as sending it from a laptop.

Get started

The portal opens when the work does.

Your account is set up alongside your first job. A partnership, a brand system or a two-week pilot, it is the same door.
